Description:
This "hands-on" laboratory course provides information and instruction for DENTSPLY Trubyte's newest
system - The Eclipse Prosthetic Resin System. Eclipse is a revolutionary new system for making removable
prosthetic appliances. The system is better, faster, and proven as compared to conventional denture
fabrication methods.
This course will cover start-to-finish processing of baseplates for full and partial dentures, a full
maxillary denture, occlusal splint, denture name identification, repairs, and relines with Eclipse materials.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course attendee will:
- Learn the benefits obtained with the Eclipse Prosthetic Resin System.
- Be able to demonstrate to the dentist and patient that a fit at try-in equals fit at delivery.
- Learn how your dental laboratory can realize increased productivity, while reducing labor costs and increasing capacity.
- Develop skill in using Eclipse Prosthetic resin System materials for:
a. Setting teeth.
b. Fabrication of occlusal splints.
c. Processing fracture and tooth repairs.
d. Processing on Eclipse relines.
- Be certified in the Eclipse Prosthetic Resin System. Finish and polish appliances.
Teaching Method: Hands-on participation course utilizing a slide/lecture and demonstration
format. Literature is provided to each participant for future reference of information provided.
Cost Includes: The cost includes seats for two technicians for "hands-on" and one seat
for an observer. Meals, program, laboratory training guide and take-home display models are also included
